Architectural Review Board (ARB) meetings are held on the second Monday each month at 7:00 pm, pending the need to meet. The ARB does not do building inspection, only architectural review and zoning compliance. All Village residents are welcome and encouraged to attend the meetings.

Regular meeting: March 10, 2014

A meeting of the Village of Riverlea Planning Commission was held March 10, 2014 at 230 W Riverglen Dr. Members present were Jo Ann Bierman, Robert Davis, Bryce E. Jacob, and Carolee Noonan. Also present was Greg Ross. Joshua C. Mehling served as Clerk. Bryce Jacob called the meeting to order at 7:05 pm.

  1. The minutes of the Planning Commission meeting of September 9, 2013 were not read since each member had received a copy. Jacob moved and Bierman seconded the motion that the minutes be approved as submitted by the Clerk. The following vote was recorded on the motion: Yea, 3, Bierman, Jacob, and Jones: Nay, None. The Motion carried 3-0.
  2. An application for a Certificate of Appropriateness by Greg and Brenda Ross at 286 Beverly Place to add a walkway and garden patio to the east side of the house. Ross reported that there would be no changes to the house itself as the result of this work. The items used in the construction are intended to be made as much from natural materials as possible. The lot coverage calculation provided is within the 40% limit and no variance is needed. The following vote was recorded on the motion: Yea, 4, Bierman, Davis, Jacob, and Noonan: Nay, None. The Motion carried 4-0.
Noonan moved and Bierman seconded a motion to adjourn. The motion was approved unanimously. The meeting was adjourned at 7:30 pm.
