McCarthy moved and Jacob seconded the motion that the minutes be approved as submitted by the Clerk-Treasurer. The following vote was recorded on the motion: Yea, 3, Jacob, McCarthy and Jones: Nay, None. The Motion carried 3-0.
  2. An application for a Certificate of Appropriateness by Deania and Robert Becker at 142 West Riverglen Drive to build a screened summer house/gazebo in the backyard. This is an addition to the plans approved June 13, 2011, which included a site plan. The gazebo will be built on a concrete slab and there will be no deep foundation. The colors submitted will match the house. The position of the gazebo clears the power lines overhead. Bryce moved and McCarthy seconded the motion to approve the application as submitted. The following vote was recorded on the motion: Yea, 3, Jacob, McCarthy and Jones: Nay, None. The Motion carried 3-0.
  3. An application for a Certificate of Appropriateness by John and Lori Oberle at 60 West Southington Avenue to revise the plans for the rear additions that were approved April 11, 2011. The master bedroom will be extended another 8 feet to the east. John Oberle stated they decided the additional 8 feet would give them more room inside as well as provide a better roof line and make the addition look more like the existing house. The windows, siding, shingles and brick will match existing. There are no other changes to the original application. No decisions have been made yet regarding the open area between the two new additions and Oberle will submit plans once they decide. A $2,000 street bond will be required. Bryce moved and McCarthy seconded the motion to approve the application as submitted. The following vote was recorded on the motion: Yea, 3, Jacob, McCarthy and Jones: Nay, None. The Motion carried 3-0.
The Commission took no additional action. McCarthy moved and Jacob seconded a motion to adjourn. The following vote was recorded on the motion: Yea, 3: Jacob, McCarthy and Jones: Nay, None. The Motion carried 3-0. The meeting was adjourned at 7:18 pm.
