Council meets at 7:00 pm on the third Monday of each month at the Thomas Worthington High School. All residents are welcome and encouraged to attend.
The Riverlea News is published and mailed monthly when Council meets. Current information is also available on 5 bulletin boards located throughout the Village and on the Web site.
The Village publishes the Riverlea Directory listing the names, addresses and phone numbers of the Mayor, Council members and other officials. It also contains the Council meeting schedule, trash collection schedule and information about our services, activities and laws of general interest.
Place trash, recyclables and yard waste at the curb (not in the street) by 6:00 am on scheduled day but not more than one day prior to collection day. Cover and/or secure everything. Remove empty containers by the following morning and store them out of sight. For more information about what is recyclable and Riverlea recycling, visit our Trash Collection - Frequently Asked Questions information page.
Please be aware that the Village does restrict the display of signs. Therefore, before placing any signs within the Village, either call someone on Council or refer to the sign ordinance (Title XV, Section 152). All signs must be placed at least 10 feet from the curb.

Even if a permit or certificate is not required, our Planning Commissioner is a wealth of information that could be very beneficial to you and your project.
