2013 Home and Garden Tour Update

The 2013 Tour which features Riverlea will be Sunday, July 14, 2013, 12:30-5:30 pm. The Historical Society will have 14 stops. Riverlea was the home of artist Bill Arter and is the home of artist Julie Ricketts. Julie will display her art in her home and the art of Bill Arter will be displayed in his former home by the current home owners. Presale tickets are available at the Old Rectory and Fritzy Jacobs for $12. On the day of the tour, tickets will be available at the Circle in Riverlea for $15. Reminder: Run for Council

In November, four Council seats will be on the ballot. Members serve four-year terms and are compensated at $450 per year. File petitions at the Franklin County Board of elections by August to run. Terms expiring December 31, 2013 are: Jon Ankrom, Briggs Hamor, Eric McGilvray, and Don Griffith.
